JOSIE LANE
Multi-level class
The founder of Hula Hoop Dance Düsseldorf, Germany, is teaching hoopdance since 2016 as a certified HOOPLOVE COACH. No matter if class, workshop, company event, bridal shower, or festival, Annik spreads the love of the play with circles and shares her wisdom from over 7 years of mostly autodidactic practice, which is complimented by the attendance at multiple workshops by international pioneers of the scene.
Her main focus lies always on the fun of playing, the curiosity of trying new things and the power of making the impossible possible!
In January 2020 she moved to Michigan, USA, living with her husband and dog, eager to find a hoop community again.
For my workshop:
3-Beat-Weave
In this workshop we’ll dive into the techniques of the famous 3-Beat-Weave, learn how to do it in both currents, continuously moving in between both currents/sides, and depending how quick the group is, we can add the windmill overpass, some spin variations and additional movements.
Good to bring: - 2 hoops of equal size (not too big)
- knowledge of 2-Beat-Weave (you can still attend if you don’t)
- humour
