Covid-19 Safety Precautions

The comfort and safety of our guests and staff is our number one concern this year as we move forward with returning to a normal and healthy post-pandemic life. Events like this are important to our mental and physical self as a person. If you need adventure, learning, creation, and expansion in your life physically, mentally, and socially then this is the event for you!  We have incorporated a new protocol and procedure process for Social Interactions, Cafeteria, and Sanitation. All Michigan State Orders and BEDHD guidelines will be followed and updated on this page per new order March 29th.


Social Interactions

Comfort Color Bands

Guests and staff can wear a colored band to display their comfort level around people. 


The temperature of all people will be taken when entering the main building.


Face Covering

Indoor Masking and Social Distancing will be enforced per the Current Michigan State Order. Indoor Masks are Required, Outdoor Masks are required when not practicing social distancing with non-household members. Masks will not be required for speakers or performers 12ft away from the audience. 

Social Distance

Group fitness is allowed to operate provided there is no physical contact between participants, participants maintain at least 6 feet of distance from one another at all times, and all participants wear a face mask.

Ticket Sales will be limited to the current occupancy orders of the Main Building.

Current order reports: Non-contact sports – practices and competitions are permitted if all participants always maintain at least 6 feet of distance from each other and if the gatherings do not exceed 50% of the total occupancy limits established by the fire marshal.


Other buildings such as the shower houses, bathrooms and Cafeteria will adhere to the same occupancy rules.


Sleeping Options. You are responsible for arranging your own stay. You can rent an RV, Join a group rental, camp in a tent or vehicle, or stay at the hotel. A new system will take place over the buffet-style you are used to at Spinsanity. The food you request will be plated for you. Please continue to bring your own silverware, plate, and cups. Kitchen Staff will be limited and tested prior to the event.

Our food services will follow the same workplace requirements that Restaurants in the state are required to follow:

  • Groups 6 six are allowed to sit next to each other.

  •  Patrons may remove masks when seated. 

  • The limit capacity is 50% of normal seating

  • Require patrons to remain seated, except to enter, exit, order food, or use the restroom

  • Close self-serve food or drink options, such as buffets, salad bars, and drink stations.

  • Food safety health protocols (e.g., cleaning between customers, especially shared condiments).

  • Create communications material for customers (e.g., signs, pamphlets) to inform them of changes to restaurant or bar practices and to explain the precautions that are being taken to prevent infection.

Hand Sanitization Stations will be set up by all building doors, however, it is recommended that you bring your own sanitization products instead of sharing.

Our volunteer staff will be sanitizing the main restrooms in the main building every two hours and cafeteria restrooms after every meal has completed. Cleaning products will be left available in the restrooms for all to use. 

If you do not wish to travel with the sanitization products you require during your stay you may purchase them from the local store. If you do not have a vehicle at the event someone will be able to take you or pick up the supplies you need. Please communicate with us to get everything you need. We are happy to help.

Pre-Event Testing

To Encourage Pre Event Testing SPiN2021 will be rewarding attendants that can show proof of a negative COVID test obtained within 5 days of the event by entering them into a Raffle!

Consequently, Those who obtain a positive covid test within 5 days of the event will receive a full ticket refund.
